What will you do to prepare my apartment before I move-in?

The apartment will be fully cleaned, carpets will be cleaned or replaced as necessary, any necessary painting will be complete, and we will check and repair anything that requires maintenance to ensure a clean, well functioning home ready for you!

Do I have to be present for a service technician to perform work?

No, we will always ask if we have permission to enter and maintenance can perform any necessary repairs whether you are home or not.

An item in my unit needs repair. How do I get help?

You may contact the office and we can take a service request from you over the phone, or you may submit a service request on our website.

What happens if I am locked out?

If this occurs during office hours you can come to the office, present your photo ID, and we will let you borrow a spare key to unlock your home. If it is after hours you will need to contact a locksmith.

Is parking available?

Each apartment comes with 1 reserved parking space included.

What amenities does the property offer?

We offer a 24-hour fitness center, laundry room, BBQ and picnic area, business center, and a clubhouse, among many others.

Is your community pet friendly?

Yes, we are pet friendly *breed restrictions apply.

What appliances are standard?

Our kitchens come with a refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher.

Do you offer furnished apartments?

No, we do not offer furnished apartments.

What are my options for paying my rent?

Rent can be paid on our website via ACH, credit or debit, and you also may pay in the office with personal check, cashier’s check, or money order.

Am I required to purchase renter's insurance?

Yes, $100,000 property liability is required.

Which provider can I use for Internet and cable?

You may use Comcast & AT&T.

If my situation changes can I get out of my lease?

We do have an early termination option.

How do I set up my utilities?

You can set up PGE by phone or internet. Water/sewer/trash will be billed to you by a third party biller and you will add that payment in with your rent, so there is nothing you will have to do to transfer these into your name.

Which utilities are included in my rent?

No utilities are included in your rent.

Is there public transportation within close proximity of the buildings?

We are conveniently located 1 block from the El Cerrito Del Norte BART station, and bus service.

Which school district are you in?

West Contra Costa Unified.

How do I get to your community?

We are located right off I-80, take the cutting Blvd. exit, turn left onto San Pablo Ave., then right onto Knott Ave. Our office is located on Knott Ave, look for the blue flags!
